The young Blues came out with honours even in this match against Colin Valley on their own turf. The Blues were in lively form from the start and with ace marksman Cahir McAllister back in their ranks were unlucky not to come away will all the points. Full time 2-2

Despite the result, Northend 2014s will take many positives from their first league outing against a strong Glendowan side. In an even first half, the teams went in scoreless at half time. Half time 0-0

They found themselves 2-0 down midway through the second half and even squad member stood firm, did not give up and grew into the game. The wee Blues finished strongly and were unlucky not to register on the scoreboard, having created a number of excellent opportunities. Full time 0-2
